The new Nitecore NU25 (2022) headlamp offers a maximum output of 400 lumens from the high performance LEDs and is powered by a built-in 650mAh li-ion battery. The light is rechargeable via a USB-C port and comes with a USB to USB-C charging cable.

The new design of the popular headlamp provides dual primary lights; a spotlight and floodlight. The dual primary lights can be used together or independently, achieving the ideal combination of long distance throw and flood beam. In addition, the NU25 has a red light for map viewing, emergency use, stargazing, wildlife observation and night photography.

The NU25 is operated by a dual switch interface on the top of the unit for fast and efficient one-handed use. Next to the mode button is a power indicator which offers the following information on remaining battery power:

• 1 LED: approx. 25%
• 2 LEDs: approx. 50%
• 3 LEDs: approx. 75%
• 4 LEDs: approx. 100%

The NU25 head torch has a quick-release hollow bracket and a dual purpose sports headband. The light is made from lightweight PC materials which is lighter, more durable and more resistant to low temperatures than conventional plastics.

Advanced temperature regulation (ATR) regulates the output of the NU25 according to the working and ambient temperature to maintain optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The outputs are measured in total of runtime, including output at reduced levels due to temperature or protection mechanisms in the design, causing the brightness level to drop down.

Maximum beam distance 64 meters, waterproof to IP66 and resistant to impacts up to 1 meter.
